Australian Aboriginal Outreach Ministries (AAOM)
AAOM is an indigenous church planting movement. We believe that by planting indigenous churches in communities, towns and cities across Australia, these churches become a beacon of hope, a lighthouse that shines out and illuminates into the darkest of communities, drawing people who have only hopelessness and despair and seeing their lives transformed and restored through The Gospel and love of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.
There are approximately 400 Indigenous communities in Australia and many of them have never heard about salvation through Christ Jesus, so there is still much work to be done. The field is ripe for harvest and we are Praying that God would raise up workers. So if you have a heart to minister to Aboriginal people in any capacity we would love to hear from you.
Ps Brett and Justine Wiltshire
AAOM National Director and senior minister
Ps Brett and Justine followed the call of God to Aboriginal ministry in Halls Creek with their young family in 1998 and ministered in Halls Creek for over 20 years, raising up Indigenous men and women to take on leadership roles in the Local church. After pastoring the local church for over 10 years they commissioned local couple Bernard and Cissie as local pastors and took on a role as State Co-ordinators. In 2014 Brett and Justine were appointed as National Directors of AAOM. They have a passion to see Aboriginal churhces planted in cities, towns and communities across this nation and to see Indigenous and non-Indigenous people trained and equipped to lead strong churches that transform communities.
